No, not realy. Altough I do love KSP
Name's Anister. IT student and professional slacker. I first saw something about this game months and months ago on Imgur. Since I'm a aspiring programmer, familliar with BASIC and C# and a big fan of sandbox games, my interests were peaked.
Alas, it was in pre-release. Fast forward a few months, I got a job that gives me a trickle of coin, and I bought this gem of a game.
And now, 2 hours later, I made:
-A explosive teleportation spell (Teleport, but the orb explodes before I teleport. Quite the dramatic entrance)
-A spell that spawns and aims orbs where I look, and launches them with F and causes them to explode on impact.
-A spell where the orbs fly forward. When they hit something, they freeze, fly upwards for a second and stop. When I hit F, the spawned orbs scatter and explode
-And finally, a spell where a orb flies forward and causes a explosion evert 0.25 seconds, for 5 seconds
Anyway, I hope to have a lot more fun, both here and in-game!
I was so excited that THE Scott Manley was coming to Code Spells... And then slapped with disappointment...
Either be, Hi!
I trusted you.
And now this.
You. I'm gonna send my spells at your SSTO. Yeah, the one you took hours to make. We all trusted you!
Anyway : you're welcome!
Ah, only a few hours and I allready managed to dissapoint people. Starting off strong here
I'll still be your friend, simply based on the fact that you too seem to enjoy Scott Manley's works. We should try and get him to play this game!
Getting Scott Manley to play CodeSpells would be amazing, but I don't think it's up his alley. Not enough space ships I'm afraid.
He plays some games that aren't just space ships. I don't really watch them, but they are real!
So maybe? Could suggest it in the comments or something and see if he bites.
