This tutorial was useful.
However, I wanted to be able to create spells that activate on conition without me having to press the activate key. For example, having the orb change colour whenever any player passes within a certain distance, rather than having to check for that state by pressing F.
Is this possible?
There aren't that many ways of detecting various conditions in CodeSpells without Air Magic. You can get the live position and distance to the orb at any time. I think you can also detect if the orb collides with something and return that object without Air Magic.

You can use Air magic to detect nearby objects, and then either find the type of those objects with Eval or determine the specs of wizards through testing and set your spell to trigger whenever any object with those specs is detected.
